We are pleased to announce that Sean has been crowned ‘Young Furniture Maker of the Year 2024’ by Heritage Crafts!
The 2024 Heritage Craft Awards reception was hosted at Eltham Palace, and is supported by the King Charles III Charitable Fund.
'The Heritage Crafts is the national charity for traditional heritage crafts. Working in partnership with Government and key agencies, they provide a focus for craftspeople, groups, societies and guilds, as well as individuals who care about the loss of traditional crafts skills, and work towards a healthy and sustainable framework for the future’
‘The award, supported for the second year running by Axminster Tools, celebrates a young woodworker who has made an outstanding start to their craft career. The winner is highly skilled amongst their peers, whilst raising the perceived value of their craft through sharing and awareness raising. They have given themselves a fantastic chance of achieving long-term success, perhaps overcoming disadvantage or setbacks along the way.’
Sean was thrilled to have received this award and is grateful for the recognition of the work we completed in 2024.
