This Walnut Sideboard is a harmonious blend of rich walnut and striking curly maple, creating a stunning visual contrast. The standout feature is the hand-cut Kumiko panel pattern, which takes centre stage in this design. The drawers and sliding doors are fitted with inlaid walnut handles, sanded flush to ensure a seamless appearance. Topped off with a ripple walnut surface, perfectly complementing the curly maple figure, making this sideboard a true statement piece.

Commissioning a piece
Design
Whether we are designing a new piece of furniture for your home, or undertaking a large refurbishment project, everything starts with a pencil sketch drawn by Sean. The project can be as much of a collaboration as you would like; we are happy to work with a specific brief and to involve you at every step, or alternatively we are happy designing a piece with creative freedom that we think would work perfectly in your space. Ultimately, what matters most to us is you fall in love with the design and we therefore will go through as many iterations to reach that feeling.
Making
The piece will be hand-made in our workshop in Kent. The natural beauty of wood is very important to us and we hand select materials for every project to ensure the best grain selection. During the making we will keep you updated with videos and pictures so you can see the piece come to life. Once we have finished your piece, we will hand deliver your furniture to you.
Payment
Once we have agreed upon a design an invoice will be sent asking for 50% upfront. We ask for the remaining 50% to be paid upon completion and before delivery. During the making we will keep you updated with pictures to show you how the build is going!
